I have been on warfarin (marevin) for just on 24 months. My specialist said that if I did not take my warfarin every day as he said for me to do I would die. So for this period my INR has been from 1.0 to 4.5 and has not stabilised for the whole period.

I would say that on my short experience that you should not stop your warfarin. The consequences are dire.

My warfarin doses have varied from nil to 14mg .
