Hi Susie.

Who is looking after you. your GP, or a consultant? When were you diagnosed and what are they doing about medication? You need to be properly looked after and managed.

Can you take Aspirin? If so, it wouldn't hurt to take a junior Aspirin 75mg per day; which will help with clot prevention.

Let us know more about your symptoms etc and keep in touch.

Best wishes.

Dave

Been in touch with the hospital early this morn & spoke with a sister in eye clinic.

They are short staffed that is why my pending appointment was cancelled.

She has told me to go to my opticians & if he thinks i need to be seen at the GWH he is to refer...What a joke.

My vision in my right eye has gone down & is all blurred.....oh she said put more drops in.

I am not feeling to clever today at all....but opticians i must go.

Hi there, please go to hospital, and please direct them to our charity website if they are not up to speed with the condition: hughes-syndrome.org/ and if you have somebody with you, get them to make sure they understand on your behalf, get back to us if we can help you further. Mary F x

I agree absolutely.

Go to an A&E NOW and if they are worried they will send you to the appropriate hospital.

Hi Mary,

I have just emailed Dave & Fab who have kindly helped with my situation.

I have rang the hospital early this morn & spoken to the sister at the eye clinic.

She has said they are short staffed, that must why they have cancelled two of my appointments.

She has told me i'm to go to my opticians & if they think i need to be seen at thte hospital he is to refere me......I'm rudy insisting he refers me.

My eye is all blured all she said was to put extra drops in.

Looks like a full day for me Mary...I'm off to the opticians....could do without it i have got an off day you know when you awake with that horrible Icky tummy.

Will let you know how it went later. Thanks Mary your all so lovely on this site.
