Well i went for an unplanned visit to the antenatal clinic today after starting with a flare during the same wk that i lost my last bubs.... Ive been getting my normal stiff joints, headaches and tiredness so thought i best get checked out... Thankfully baby is doing fine (15wks tomorrow) but had a blood test result that through me especially as both my heamatologist and obs consultants had never seen this before... I apparently have Anti-Golgi antibody which had the note at the side of it saying "this is a very antibody to find and is often associated with lupus, sjogens and viral infections..... I will be going to see a rheumatologist soon to see if i have another aunto immune condition... Anyone else got or heard of this particular antibody? Hugs k xx

Hi there, I found this paper and had a look at clinical cases reported, it is a bit wordy, but nevertheless informative. Congrats on how you are coming along with that baby, and I am really pleased they are taking such care with the detail of things. ard.bmj.com/content/60/10/9...

Hi Kate so glad to hear you are doing well at 15 weeks. It is a shock when docs tell you have something rare or unusual.

They must be a very thorough unit to have done such detailed tests.

How long do you have to wait to see the rheumy? I have not heard if this antibody but then there are so many.

Let us know how you get on with your rheumy.

Not what you're looking for?
