any one know of a good welfare benefits solicitor that has worked for them , thanks
Hi, it may help if you could explain a little of why you think you need a solicitor at this time. The cheapest reliable option for advice on welfare rights and the filling out of forms for DLA etc are the citizens advice bureau, they are very competant and helpful in these matters.
hi jade have my apeal coming up and it was hard enough 16 years ago to get income support and dla care component, since they have stopped part of my money im all over the place with stress, being about 7 grand i debt im about to lose the plot , i have read in other posts that they are not giving people there moey back no matter how ill u r , ( goverment cull of the sick ,, i now know h the badgers must have felt) i scored no points on the day as the interview was con , no doctor , only a hired nurse who had not heard of aps or could spell it, she also kept things out and would not let m answer questins properly, so like good boy i held my temper and just laughed at there questions, for that i got no points , i am more scared of losing my temper and ending up in a whole lot of trouble , hence the solicitor,,,
Hi. I went to the Citizens Advice Bureau, and they were amazing. The legal man was unable to come with me for my tribunal as he was on annual leave, but he wrote a marvellous letter and advised me on how to be precise in my own answers. On the day of my tribunal, the clerk of the court phoned me and said the panel had reviewed my case and there was no need to attend as they had found in my favour. Ring the CAB tomorrow morning - they get really busy, so the quicker the better. Good luck.
