Can anyone help me?
I take 28 tablets a day and I need to find a way to make a list of all my medication, doses and allergies and carry it with me at all times.
I have looked at a medic alert site but need to carry more information than what they can offer.

I use a smart phone app called medic id to carry mine. Also I have a medic alert pendent from u-tag that includes a special alert USB on it.
I have a medic alert bracelet, and they print a small card with a list of medication on it. It doesn't have your doseage on there but they do have a contact phone number.
I also have a green lion pot which i keep in the fridge with all my medical details on it. You put a sticker by your front door, so if an ambulance is called etc they know where to find all you info. You can pick these up from your local chemist.

I wear a necklace 'Allertag'. It is essentially a small, waterproof, cylinder with a piece of paper curled up inside. You can then put all your medications, allergies and contact details on it. I also carry a sheet in my wallet containing all this information as well. In the hope that they will find one or the other in an emergency.

Hi I wear an sos talisman bracelet. If google talisman there site will come up. I chose a stainless steel one so I can leave it on in the bath, beach etc. They have a wide variety of barcelets, necklaces et and are made to length individually. I think it cost about £35 x
I wear medic alert dogtag which has summary info, then detailed info on card in my wallet & I also carry copy of my repeat prescription form in wallet which details meds and doseage info.......
My medic-alert actually says: 'see wallet for more, plus meds'. Did this as deal with much more than APS and I also take many meds. Perhaps this is an idea?

I don't have quite as many meds as you do, but I'm close. I went to my word processor & did my own list. On the first page, I put things in big red print that needed to be seen before any treatment was started, such as I can't have a tourniquet or any type of tape used on me. The next page has contact info, my SSN, the current date & medical history like shots & surgeries & their dates. Then I have a copy of my living will. Then I have my medications, their dosages & when I take them. (I have trouble with memory, so sometimes I have to pull my list out in order to fill my weekly pillbox) Then I have all my health conditions & meds without dosages, because I have a number of conditions that I'm not able to take medication for. My last page has all my meds - Rx & OTC - that I can't take & I list whether the med caused a side effect or an allergic reaction & what that effect or reaction did to me. Whenever a change is made in my meds or I have a new side effect or allergy that calls for changing the list, I pull up my list from my computer file, make the changes & enter the current date & print out only the new pages affected.
I have a medical warning sign on my front door stating where a copy of my medical information is. I have 2 copies. Doctors & nurses love it - they just take it & photocopy it or scan it into their computer. One hospital decided to write all of my medicine allergies & it took 7 wrist bands!
Everyone here has given excellent suggestions. I also wear a bracelet. I hope all of us have helped you or at the very least, given you some options to consider.
One word of warning to everyone about emergency medical bracelets & necklaces that I saw on the program "The Doctors". They were talking to an EMT who said "DO NOT alter the chains in any way. If you try to make the chain pretty by changing it to beads or something, emergency medical personnel will ignore it because they think it is just jewelry & that could cost you your life."

One of the Medic Alert sites offers a membership that you pay for each year. Their bracelet's have an ID # and phone # that the medics can call 24/7. When they call, they can give the medical provider all of the information that you have provided to them. That way you don't have to try to fit everything onto a small bracelet or worry if someone will be able to find your list of information.
I use an ap on my phone called pillboxie. I find it usefull as it also reminds me when and how much medication to take once I've programmed it in. I also carry a little book round in my bag with all the info in and my INR results x
I carry a flash drive. I have not yet,, but plan to stop by the local ambulance hang out spot and sk them how to best draw an EMT's attention to the drive, which is in a red case strapped to my bag. One suggestion from friends is to wear a medic alert bracelet which says " see flash drive.". I do think such flash drive alerts are going to become more universal. It is possible to buy a dedicated medic alert flash drive on line, except one of the consumer reviews pointed out that their drive had a non-universal format. So this reviewer sent the tailor made medic alert drive back and crafted his own with a more universally readable flash drive. I copied his suggestion.
I keep meds and a brief summary of APLs, and all my docs and insurance co nurse contact info.
Simple way i found keep a copy of your perscription has drug and your GP on it if you in the UK

One of my problems is that I do not carry a handbag and rarely carry a purse so I am looking for something that I can wear that will have all my complicated medical history, allergies and medication.
I wear a medic alert bracelet which gives a summary of my medical conditions and most importantly that I am on warfarin and am an anaesthetic risk. There is a phone no. for paramedics to call and then medic altert can give them my GP details, next of kin and all the medication I am on.
Have never, thank goodness, needed it but feel reassured.
