Recently come out of hospital after 3 months following an unexpected bowel operation (fortunately not cancer related)Just wanted to big up the NHS. The hospital I was in liaised so well with my main hospital regarding my APS and renal transplant and kept me informed of any recommended changes and especially when I developed Covid sepsis and had a small stroke.

Feeling kind of lucky to still be here, 😉

Thanks Kerry. Funnily enough the hardest part is building up my leg strength having been on my back for 3 months. Good old zimmer frames!

what an ordeal- and what a wonderful attitude you have. It’s nice to be reminded that we wake up every day ( God willing as the old saying goes) with a choice to make about how we will engage with the world. Thanks for showing me a good example, I need a good reminder now and again!

I’m quite a fan of your husband now as well. You tell him he’ll do!
