Hi everyone

And Kathy in West Texas.

Having trouble with finding someone to renew Rx

for warfarin. My primary care committed suicide and I have not found a replacement. All urgent cares and online will not renew warfarin. I - as all of you really don’t want to go through all of this again.

Kathy- I thought to try your Rhummi in NJ but she does not take my insurance.

I remember your adage about trying someone new and what risky business that was Anyone know of anywhere I could go without having to explain ?

I just called a cardiologist who told me I had to see a pulmonologists. The entire is very difficult to explain. ( as u all know). And for those of us who have a host of autoimmunes - they hate us.

Tough to get by the front desk. All you have to say is syndrome or Nord and they freak.

Hope you r all having a good Valentine’s. I am so grateful for your help.

XO

Susan in NJ

Hi Susan, this is “Kelly in Texas” ( central Texas- the Hill country, actually.)

Is there a Kathy in west Texas here? Am I missing a new member?

I recommended my daughters rheum in Nj,

She also sees a very good one just out side of Princeton at UPenn - I can ask her what his name is.

She has anti RNP , early lupus, and Sjögren’s.

Thank you ! I finally was able to get a renewal I wish we were more compatible with maybe just one specialty. But I can understand the complexity of our care. Foster care of some sort with no medical history ; you can imagine their reactions when they witness my extensive bruising or bleeding 🩸 episodes. “Am I a victim of domestic violence.?” The only thing I was able to extract from my home was I was female so I would pass what I had ; whereas a male would probably not. Ergo - foster care. Legal records but sealed and then taken

No worries. I have met wonderfully gracious people And I am very grateful for them and all of you

Many thanks again !💕

Susan
