This is theHSS ( Hospital for Special Surgery) # based in NY, maybe they can refer you to someone in your area. This is how I found an APS specialist in NJ. Just ask if they know of anyone in your area/State. Good luck, can't hurt right!

So, you called this phone number and they gave you referral? Is it an HSS office in New Jersey, or just a rheumatology practice?

HSS in New York City is in the 70s right on the East River. It makes it extra difficult to get to if you don't move too well since it is so far East (not close to transportation).

They are HSS in Ny but they can refer you to a Dr in their Paramus,NJ office. Which is right off the Nj Parkway right off of 165. I also posted about a Dr in Neptune, Nj near exit 100 from Nj Pkwy: Dr Deborah Alpert look for my other post. Just did it yesterday after my appt. Check it out

Too bad I didn't know about their outpatient centers before. Paramus would be closer than Neptune, and closer than NYC. Although, NJ was scary driving for me even before brain fog was an issue.

I'm sure this will be good information for others.

Here is the web page for their other locations:

Thanks for the info.

I called the numbers in Colorado and they were all disconnected. I think the list needs to be updated

Did you go through the 800 number above for this referral and if so call them back and let them know so they can help you. As stated above..."possible" . I hope they can redirect you. I know others on here have people in Colorado. Maybe try typing " Colorado APS specialist" in search box. Let us know either way👍

Yes Dr. Schofield is in Colorado. But no longer affiliated with University Colorado Hospital. She has set up practice with IMMUNOE in Centennial. I was just commenting that the numbers on the APS USA website are not accurate for Colorado. Dr. Schofield just reestablished her practice recently.

They also have an office in White Plains which is the same amount of time, but roads I'm more used to.
