hello everyone, I apologise for the long rant but I need to get this out of my system.Went to collect my Tinzaparin from pharmacy on Thursday and was told there isn't any probably ,manufacturing problem took my telephone no .and said they would ring me later to say what's going on Waite .all day no ,phone call went .back Friday still no idea why they can't get any.Went back Saturday and was told to check out other pharmacies in Scarborough. No luck there either Nobody asked if I had any left or what to do.Rung the rheumatology ward in Leeds and was told they don't keep any on ward and hospital pharmacy closed at weekend☹️I only have one injection left so I missed morning dose today Does .anyone know if it's ok to miss some doses or to swap to something else ? ThanksElfie

Im in the States and My APS is treated with warfarin. Could you access another injectable such as heparin? And in the meantime, perhaps take aspirin? Can you get in touch with your GP? Perhaps your GP could get in touch with your rheumy or offer another drug?

It's been a national emergency recently with national shortages in the UK of many important medications and is putting lives at risk. Same with my seizure meds, they sent me on a wild goose chase around all the pharmacies in town trying to find some.

They should really think of alternatives for you if they really have none available for you, pronto. I hope you manage to get some soon. X

I spoke to the pharmacist at my INR clinic about this, they say they should have resourced a replacement for you. As far as they are away there is no production issue. Check with your drs
