Does anyone have reoccurring blood clots in there lungs. If so what are they doing about it and what do you take for pain control. The blood clots are on the lower and small veins.

Blood clots in Lungs
Skyllark,
Are the clots forming in your lungs themselves?
Do you have very small bleeds from the alveoli within the lungs? This can happen with APS. I’m not sure if this can lead to clotting after. A pulmonologist would answer that question- I know nothing about it at all other that it can be a complication of APS. ( I should think it would depend on many factors about your particular blood, platelet count etc, and your anticoagulant status.)
Do you have a pulmonologist that is working well together with your rheumatologist and hematologist? Are at least two of the three knowledgeable APS?
The bottom line- this tells you you must ask your doctor- he/ she must contact an APS specialist is needed.
Retweet from Dr Jason Knight- APS specialist Rheumatologist at University of Michigan.
Sorry, a few days went by with no response, so I did not want you to feel discouraged or “unseen.”
Many times we do understand what you are asking specifically, but still want to offer support where we can .
hi Skyllark,
I’ve just been diagnosed with multiple blood clots on my lungs and was searching for people who have been through similar to arrêter if anyone has found out why they’ve got them?
I was wondering as some time has gone by how did you get on? Have you any answers as to why you’ve got them?
Many thanks emma
