Hi as you that follow me know I have severe memory and cognitive issues. I am seeing a clinical Psychologist to help me with coping strategies etc. She has sent me a list of executive functioning issues and it is me to a T! If it helps I can post the info but has anyone else got executive function issues due to neurological changes?
Executive Function : Hi as you that... - Hughes Syndrome A...
Executive Function
I noticed a huge improvement after B12 injections and also treating my low Thyroid function, (nothing showed up until I had done very detailed private tests, but we are all different. In case you have not seen this particular paper. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/185... MaryF
Mary been tested extensively for thyroid and b12 as my grandmother had pernicious annemia.
Would love to see the information they have given you.It has been proven to me that autoimmune inflammatory markers can change the actual reading of ferriten, iron and B12. What ever my readings are they are over inflated. I still have a battle with local doctor's when I need infusions but I get there eventually with help from St Thomas's.
I know you are under Prof Hunt, so this doesn't apply to you, as she would have xhecked all that out first.
Hope you get the help you need.
Holly thanks for your post am now also under National hospital for neurology and neuroscience at Queens Square. So I am hopeful of some help at some point apart from the current medication.
Holly sorry been trying to attach the info via a scan but can’t seem to do that so am trying to find a different way as I don’t have enough time to type it all but I will get it and either post it or send it to you
I don’t know how bad my memory is compared to you. But I can forget anything, it’s so frustrating at times. I hope things improve for you.
Oh yes. I have neuro psychologist who gives me all the tests which I fail with flying colors. ( short term memory and spatial relationships are the real problems- and pattern recognition. )
