I did a post a couple of years ago detailing a wide range of symptoms and positive and recurrent blood test results for antiphospholipid and anticardiolipin. I explained that I did not have a diagnosis and was greatly suffering. Someone was kind enough to offer me some support on this site, and pointed to a specialist in Ottawa. I would like more information if I can locate this person again. Thanks a lot!

APS, searching for specialist Ontario, Ottawa, Canada
Hello, it may be an idea to write to Thrombosis Canada, who may have some specialists listed? Some medical names on here to explore: thrombosiscanada.ca/guides/... MaryF
thank you so much for this support. It really matters to me. I do see from the guidance document that levels for ACL antibodies are higher than mine. I do have positive results for antibeta2 antibodies that are constantly positive, IgG and IgM, but at levels below 40. The tale of my neurological and multi systemic symptoms do not seem to carry any weight however. I will look to see whether I can have a second opinion but in my region the only specialist is the one I saw already. I do not want to presume medical expertise, but i have realized that there is very little knowledge in Canada of the syndrome, or the significance of the positive blood results I have, if they indicates any other medical issues. So i remain without medical assistance. Thank you again for all your support.
