Thank you for the names of Canadian Drs. In July I’ll be seeing Dr Cabral in Ottawa for the 1st time in 37 years. I’m so excited to meet him and hopefully get a lot of questions answered. I’ve had this APS (as well as Lupus and PAH) for 37 years. Because of this website I am now only, learning the seriousness of APS and making sense of the never explained to me the bizarre and terrifying symptoms APS causes. Thank you so very much for this site!!😁
Please let me know how your appointment goes. It is so hard to find a doctor here in Canada that knows anything about APS. I have a referral to a hematologist, after that, I’m going to see one of the doctors on my list.
Hi turkeyfalcon i used to live in Montreal, Quebec on the west island called Point Claire. it was there I met Dr Anne Clark. She was my rheumatologist for only a year or so before I moved to Ottawa 17 years ago. I see she is now practicing in Calgary. I have to tell you, if I could have had one extra thing to put on my moving van that day, it would have been her. She was by far the most amazing Dr I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, let alone be lucky enough to have her as my Dr. Leaving her behind and starting over with a new Dr was terrifying. I'm not sure if you live in Calgary but if you do, she'd be my top choice.
p.s. i will let you know how it goes with Dr Cabral. I hear very good things about him as well!!! Wish me luck.
