Hello everyone... I’ve been diagnosed since 2012

Previously I asked the group if there was a specialist in APS in Qld and I’m informed, of a rheumatologist specialist. I don’t suffer from this.

So now I ask.... Is there anyone in Australia you good folk know of who understands/specialises in APS? Many thanks.

A rheumatologist is the specialist who deals with APS. APS flakes under the umbrella of connective tissue disease autoimmune specialists. ( rheumatic diseases in general.... does not mean only rheumatoid arthritis.)

That can sound a little confusing!

As rheumatologist's deal with inflammation of auto immune desease they cover both APS and arthritis, many are under rheumatologist's or haematologist.

Initially I was under both.
