Lumps under thigh with bruising

Hello. I was given 2 Lovenox injections in the hospital and 1 a day for 4 days after that at home before I could get back on Coumadin which I have been taking since 2004. I was prepared to see bruising and bumps on my belly and also bruising anywhere I might have even gently bumped my leg without thinking about it. But why I would I be seeing the same size of lump and the same size and shape of the bruises on my belly on the underside of my thigh? Bruising I understand. Lumps, I don't get it. I can't see my doctor for two more weeks. Advice would be great. Thanks, anybody.

HI can you confirm if you have a diagnosis for Hughes Syndrome/APS? This way we can help you more efficiently. MaryF

It sounds like a hematoma. I have several right now both on the site where I gave myself the Lovenox injections (belly) and two on my right leg. I called my doctor and she said to apply warm compresses, elevate and apply compression where possible. She also said to be aware of a bleed and to keep an eye on them in case they get worse.
