Theranos

Good morning! In terms of background here, I have primary APS, am an almost-daily reader, and I learn something about our health situations EVERY DAY. For that, I thank you.

I wanted to let you know about the company listed in the heading, Theranos. A blood-testing company was recently fined by the SEC and the story (WSJ) is particularly difficult to read, especially for anyone who home-tests. This is a cautionary tale for all of us. If you have talked about or been informed of this in the past, great! If not, take a look.

Does it mean are home tests are no good

in reply toDragoon

No, this is just a company who purported that their blood testing machine did wonders, in addition to lying about their value. Our home test machines are as good as they have been, Theranos looks like a fraudulent company. Just a reminder to pay attention.
