Hi there and I hope everyone is feeling as well as possible
I support someone with APS and have a quick question: does anyone else experience very cold episodes (all over the body) which last about 5-15 seconds each time and occur 1 to 2 times per week? He is taking warfarin and other heart meds also.
Thanks in anticipation.

I just answered a post and a question "Cold at nights" here at our site 16 minutes ago about this "fenomene".
I have today an INR of 4.0 but earlier I was on no Warfarin or a too low INR and then the "cold" feelings happened. I have today Pulmonary Hypertension and two leaking heartvelves and do an Ecocardiographe with doppler once a year. I had exstreme high bloodpressure that was involved in this fenomene. It could drop in 2 minutes from 120 to 90 for ex.
I would be interested to hear more from you. Today but still with bloodpressure drugs my bloodpressure is ok. I have a machine at home.
HI, I think circulation problems, making you feel cold are not unusual with Hughes Syndrome/APS, however I would also ask that care is taken to investigate their thyroid, beyond just the TSH that the GP does. Unfortunately is is possible to slip through the net with this and it is common to have a Thyroid condition alongside Hughes Syndrome/APS.
For example I do a private panel like this, including of course B12, D and Iron:
TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies,Thyroglobulin Antibodies, Ferritin ,Folate, Vitamin B12 (NOT ACTIVE B12), C Reactive Protein, Vitamin D (25 OH), REVERSE T3, Insulin, HbA1c, Magnesium.
