Hi, is this what they think has caused your problems?

You were going to try and be tested for APS/Hughes, how did this go?

In medicine, May-Thurner syndrome (MTS), also known as the iliac vein compression syndrome, is a rare condition in which compression of the common venous outflow tract of the left lower extremity may cause discomfort, swelling, pain or blood clots, called deep venous thrombosis (DVT), in the iliofemoral vein.

I have 'May Thurner Syndrome'. I had a DVT just after my son was born 26 years ago. Since then I have had problems with swelling and discomfort. My knee is now affected. Due to the swelling, my knee cap is unstable so I need to wear a knee brace. very few Doctors have heard of this condition so just like Hughes Syndrome I have to explain it to them 🙂
