Good Morning All .... id like to ask if anyone has ever collapsed while taking fragmin shots please as any information would be helpful thankyou .

Hi Jilly,

You wrote that you are going to the "renal unit" on December 8th for your kidneys to do a biopsy.

APsnotFab and Mary suggested you should go to hospital if you had more problems with your stomach. You wrote that you were fine on she shots after some days. What did your Doctor say when you phoned him last week?

We are not medical trained here. If I were you and had collapsed I would go to a hospital.

Hi hun yeah i did speak over the phone with the hospital and had to hand in a urine sample at my local docs all was ok with it , had a few problems with my stomach but hopefully on thurs this week i might be able to get some answers , was just hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the fragmin shots , but in saying that i did google it and fainting is one of the side effects of the drug , ive been taking them nearly 3 weeks now but yesterday i hit the deck after taking it , had a check over with the paramedics who wanted me 2 go into hospital which is 30 miles away i live on my own with my 13 year old son so that wasnt possible , my blood pressure was low , but promised if happened again i wld go ... its very difficult when your new to this APS and dont know very much about it .

Like my colleague, APsnotFab, I've been injecting Fragmin for over 6 years now with no problems. Please go and get checked out.

I hope you follow the advices from the Admins and get to the bottom of this issues! I know they know a lot about APS.

Is Dr El-Mahrouki a Specialist as you think she will have an answer? When will you see her?

Yeah i,m sure she will have , she was mentioned on prof hughes nov blog regarding 2 of the success stories , i should be seeing her before xmas .
