My I.n. r. is only 1.7 at the moment and I am on 10mg of warfarin and 2xfondaparinux7.5mg and alot of other tablets the doctors have been talking to Professor Beverly Hunt about me so I should be in good hands. As I am having a full body mot. I have been in hospital for 17 day's now and my i.n. r. was 1.0 when I first was admitted..
Glad to hear that Prof Hunt is in the picture with this, let us know how you get on, get well soon. MaryF

I have had severe issues in this area. The doc wanted to catheterize me too. I read up on it and opted out but clearly my issue was not as severe as yours. I am on Tamsulosin and it reduces the symptoms was enough to get things moving. I have since gone on an anti-inflammatory diet and avoid ALL sugar. That includes the obvious things like chocolate sweets and ice cream but also alcohol. The Doctor scoffed as he does at all diet related suggestions. Call it co-incidence but problem is now down about 90%. How can a Medic belittle an intention to remove processed sugar from a diet!?
I'm not a doctor, don't play one on TV and only telling you what has worked for me. Good luck.
