Just had to share for other warfarin patients. I'm in the process of bridging for dental surgery on Monday. Which means tonight I get to have liver and onions for dinner. Hooray! So who would've ever thought that there could be a reason for some of us to look forward to dental surgeries?

Liver for dinner!
Hi Gina,
I hated liver when I got it in school in the 50th. Today I love liver and onion so I understand your Hooray. But tonight already ........?
Good luck on Monday!

I've already taken one high dose age shot with another one tonight, so, yeah. I think tonite and tomorrow will be fine for liver.

I may be away for awhile --not sure --I don't own a lap top so if i am hospitalize this afternoon i won't be able to contact you unless by phone CELL--- but you may be non talking for awhile...please let me know how everything went as soon as you are able ..
Thinking of you and yours --Casey -Jim - and Maureen
Eating it now. Calves liver topped with fried bacon, mushrooms, green onions from my garden and herbs. Perfect! and blackberry crisp in the oven for desert
Thanks. And yes I am -- temporarily. But I have another reason to celebrate: I had given up on the asparagus I planted 2 years ago. but now I see all 8 of the little darlings have sprouted! And they're so cute. I'm thinking of naming them -- all 8 of them. (maybe I don't have enough going on in my life? I mean really. It's come to this? That I get excited about liver for dinner and asparagus in my garden?)
I was put off liver when I was at school, the cooks used to put it with rice and I am sure left over veg! Ah the joys of boarding school. Never eaten it since.....Ugh
As for the asparagus it takes 2 years before it crops but once it does it stems can grow an inch in a coup;e of hours.
Hope dental work goes OK
