The European Forum on Antiphospholipid Antibodies has just published the results from a European multi centre trial with good news. It provides evidence that pregnant women with Hughes/APS who still lose babies with the usual treatment (aspirin and heparin) are much more likely to have a successful pregnancy is they are also treated with hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil or Quinoric in the UK).

This gives hope to all those people out there who still have to go through the heartache of multiple miscarriages without ever having a baby.

Do you have any links to that? I've had 5 miscarriages and 2 stillborn babies. The lovenox and apron didn't work for me. Yesterday we for a surprise that I'm pregnant again. Doctor had told me there is nothing new they can do. This gives me some hope, and I'd love the details to share with my doc.
