Hi you need to join Thyroid UK on this same platform, as well as being on here - many of our members are on there and vice versa, they will help you read you results and also talk to you about sub clinical Thyroid problems, There is a high level of patient advocacy at the charity, their charity website is also informative. I learnt about mine and what to do with these problems. Also like ours, a good reading list. It is not uncommon for doctors to say that the test results are normal, the tests are not that good and the testing parameters fairly narrow! MaryF x

I agree with Mary - Thyroid UK's online forum could be useful, you could also ask any questions directly to the British Thyroid Foundation: btf-thyroid.org/.

Their forum - TUK, is now the NHS forum of choice. Their website is thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/index.... - good to have a choice to look at. MaryF

PS Thyroid UK recently attended our Patient's Day at St Thomas and are shortly to publish an article about Hughes Syndrome, and autoimmune disease. MaryF
