Hello Leenalina

What you have described should be enough to shout APS at a Dr who is experienced in the disease.

Who is managing your illness and where are you from?

Best wishes.

Dave

Yes, APS is diagnosed from a combination of symptoms (your TIAs) plus laboratory test results (your positive antibodies). As Dave suggests, you really need to see a specialist - if you're in the UK our charity has a directory online: hughes-syndrome.org/self-he...

Hi Leenalina,

Dave and Kate have already given you the answers, I'm just chirping in with agreement. I've never had dvt, but many tia's along with the blood tests and was diagnosed with APS 5 years ago.

If you don't have a doctor and are in the UK, there are suggestions here to direct you to one.

Good luck!

Thank you! I already got some advice of specialists by Mary (I think the name was Mary). I read a neurologists answer in internet to someone who had TIA's that he has to have proven stroke by MRI, to get diagnose. Thank you all, it was a relief to hear that I should get proper diagnose to get proper medication. Next week I have rheumy appointment.
