hi all, im a month short of my 30th birthday, my last pregnancy was a bit rough and bumpy but have a 10 month old beautiful baby girl. I was diagnosed with APS in 2011. im just wondering what the average gap should be between having another baby. Any advice will be massively appreciated, thank you

Hi there I would have thought it varied between person to person... you need to write or speak to whoever managed your last pregnancy so you have the same detailed care and careful outcome. Please let us know what they say back to you.and where you are based, as this sort of information sharing between members in the same boat is always useful. Mary F x
Thanks Mary F, I spoke to them when they gave me and my husband the contraception talk after i had our daughter, they just said ideally a year but if you fall pregnant between then just ring us and we will re start your injections and get you back in for regular check ups. would love another baby but im just a little worried about timing and i look after a mentally and physically disabled adult aswell. Our daughter is 10 months old and on the move all the time, Im the sole carer for my brother in law and he can be very demanding but would love to give our daughter a brother or sister. especially after she was a twin and i lost her twin at a very early stage.
Well despite everything you sound as if you know what you are doing! Your care is obviously set up with the door open..... I had seven years between first and next..having had horrendous blood clotting problems, (but being seronegative was never told about Hughes Syndrome), but due to correct care did ok.... and actually there is only 19 months between my last two... so a very short gap.. I was trying to decide whether or not to have one more.. but my youngest son made the decision for me, and along he came with bells on! Mary F x
