HIV transmission through scratching

Hi. I’m HIV positive and has reach undetectable viral load on March this year (2020).

Just now i was playing outside with my 5 year old sister and she accidentally scratched my arm with her nails and I noticed the scratch has caused an open wound.

Can she get HIV from this?

I’m really worried.

Hi , Please don't worry , it is now known that someone with an undetectable viral count can not pass on HIV , even to sexual partners. It is virtually impossible for your sister to be at risk from what you say happened . An obvious precaution would be to make sure she washes her hands thoroughly, and that's about it . She will be fine .

Absolutely no risk whatsoever...... even if you were detectable it would be such a negligible risk,

Agree with the other posters. Undetectable means no significant numbers of viral particiles in the blood. With an intact skin/nail surface, there is zero risk .
