I'm hiv poz had it for 3 years now keep getting really ill, really worried about my life some day think what his the point to life? I have a job keep been off sick.. anyone else in same boat

I kept getting ill for the first few years. Once I got my meds right I settled and am much better now. I'm about 5 years in and almost feel normal again. Everyone's immune system and bodies are as different on the inside as our bodies and faces are on the outside. I felt like you did, but I did get better. Give it time and try to have faith, not easy I know but try... Inbox me any time

Hi Luca, Sorry your going through it at the moment. (((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))) Hang on in there mate, its got to get better soon!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont give up as it sounds like your down but illness can do that to you, make you feel helpless and think its never gonna end. What are your doctors like, are they understanding /supportive able to tell you why you are having bouts of illness? x

Hi there i felt the same way u did when i frist found out that i was positive well i didnt know what to do but i had all my friend tell me dont give up u will live a long time well its been 7 years am hiv positive undetectable and i went to the dr. on monday and the dr. told me i was doing good that she didnt have to see me but once a year just to keep up with my medication and just keep up the good work well am here to be ur friend and be there for u

It took me a couple years. Takes time to get the right meds. Took me about 3 years but I'm good now! You will be too!

hey there. i was diagnosed almost a year ago (25 february). there are times where i am okay and there are also times i ask myself what is the point of living or will i never find someone who will accept me, etc.
