Evening all.I had a flutter ablation under ga on 16th May.All went well. However in the past few nights my watch has recorded 45 average hear rate during the night.Im wondering if anyone else found this and hopefully it's nothing to worry about. My question is how low can it go before I call arrhythmia nurse at St Thomas's. Thank you.

It can and does go down at night and can be normal. Take expert advice if concerned.

Following latest cardioversion, my average resting pulse is now 54bpm but does drop into 40s at night.

Hello Ethel, I would take Hamish's advice and have yourself checked out. There will be no fuss, 45bpm is quite low, and the medical staff will understand your anxiety and either reassure you or take action, if that is necessary. Contact them sweetheart, put your mind at rest.
