Morning all. I have noticed my heart rate running quite fast even during the night. This is a new one for me. I was diagnosed a fib in Jan and take Verapimil and Apixaban. My question is should I try and talk to my gp (if I can) or battle on. Waiting for CV but now just getting a call in Oct. Many thanks.

What is fast ?
Between 110 and 120.rises to 150 to 180 on slow flat walks.
Have a word with your GP. Assuming you are still in AF and not 'simply'tachycardic, 110/120 is not normally something to worry unduly about .Personally I would try not to attempt anything which would elevate your rate up to 180 too frequently whilst you are awaiting your dccv. Just my opinion as a long standing AF er!
I think you may have posted regarding this a couple of months ago so if it's still occurring, I would contact your GP, arrhythmia nurse or consultant to have it checked out.
Thank you yes have a cardio call soon and will mention it.
Better to be on the safe side.😊.
