Elevated heart rate.

Morning all. I have noticed my heart rate running quite fast even during the night. This is a new one for me. I was diagnosed a fib in Jan and take Verapimil and Apixaban. My question is should I try and talk to my gp (if I can) or battle on. Waiting for CV but now just getting a call in Oct. Many thanks.

Between 110 and 120.rises to 150 to 180 on slow flat walks.

Have a word with your GP. Assuming you are still in AF and not 'simply'tachycardic, 110/120 is not normally something to worry unduly about .Personally I would try not to attempt anything which would elevate your rate up to 180 too frequently whilst you are awaiting your dccv. Just my opinion as a long standing AF er!

Thank you. I'm in presistant AF. I don't seem to feel any effects at high hr on walking but do feel the racing heart at night

I think you may have posted regarding this a couple of months ago so if it's still occurring, I would contact your GP, arrhythmia nurse or consultant to have it checked out.

I think my amazbit watch is not helping as we all know in presistant a fib it can't calculate hr properly and it makes me anxious. Only just got this watch too, its very good otherwise. Peeps on here have arrhythmia nurses I've never been offered one.
