Ectopics after flutter ablation.
Dear Ethel So sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well. Yet, I still think it is not so bad as it looks. Just try to calm down as it may help. Thinking of you a lot and wishing you all the best! xx LoL Bea
Morning.
I had an ablation 12.months ago for non sustained VT and PVC, the first three months were challenging, my heart took some time to settle. A year on I am off all meds and feeling much better, I still experience fatigue and some ventricular ectopics but feeling much better. The recovery from ablation takes time, just take things easy. The cardiac nurses are there to support you, if you need reassurance or advice talk to them. The cardiac rhythm team I spoke to post ablation were amazing, very reassuring and they were able to contact my consultant the same day and offer advice. I had to go back onto all my medication as my heart was unsettled and I felt terrible, but now I am much better.
Keep seeking advice and getting all the support you need, it is frightening and sometimes , for me, difficult to understand why it had caused me to feel so unwell, we all get, there and our bodies are unique and react differently.
Take care and I hope things settle for you soon.
