How long did it take for then to stop? You taking glycinate? If you started with 500 you still on 500?

When I started magnesium I got bad ectopics. They disappeared when I stopped taking it some time afterwards becos I did not realise it was the magnesium. This can happen. Taking magnesium can make matters worse. I only realised it was the magnesium when someone else on this forum had same issue. Be careful. It's not for everyone. Phil

Magnesium is not a magic cure for ectopics unfortunately although you could be forgiven for thinking so by looking online.Like everything else it works for some people and not others.Have you tried stoping for a month and then restarting?.If you notice no difference or think they are worse magnesium is probably not for you.l have been taking magnesium taurate for over a month now and had no appreciable change in my ectopics, once l have finished the bottle l will not be repurchasing although l felt it was worth a try.

Hi Contra, I only take Magnesium if I am having an arrhythmia which can last hours. They sometimes put arrhythmia away within around 20 minutes but not always. I take Magnesium Citrate 200mg. I found that taking them daily did not reduce my arrhythmias. Try not to stress

Try taking vitamin C. I take up to 1000mg daily and magnesium. Vitamin C helps with my arrhythmia. Of course everyone is different. And nothing always works right away. Take care.

Give your body time to adjust to them. It takes time to build up your magnesium stores. Magnsium tablets are not like a pill which you take and the problem just stops. Take them with food, but if you usually take them in the morning, try having them in the evening instead for a month or two. It may make a difference to how your body responds to them. It will take time for you to see the difference. They may help your health in other ways too.
