Im in the same boat:)

Just tried Bisoprolol today so hoping they calm down soon..

Not sure how long it takes etc.

Non medication - a good solid walk/run helps me!

I can’t take beta blockers as they drop my blood pressure too low. I’ve been given Flecainide but just too worried about taking it! Im a dancer and new term starts Monday. It’s good to know that some solid cardio does the trick! I’m hoping ballet does the same!

I was suffering with palpitations for several months after a severe infection that landed me in hospital. I was put on bisoprolol and it took a good 6 months before they were completely eradicated for me. But everyone is different.

I use an ice cube at the roof of my mouth. This usually works for me

I’ll give that a go, thank you 😊

I find deep breathing, ice cold water and a cough can slow them down.

Hi. I'm new here but that's a good question and I'm interested in what other people will say... The only things I can do really when they are really bad is to go to sleep. They are definitely worse when I get poor sleep but then again you can have a bad day when you slept well. Sometimes, a vigorous workout can stop them while you're working it, but then they start again after you stop working out. Sometimes distractions help - anything that really gets your attention and requires focus - but not always. And finally, and this is weird, I sometimes find that if I get angry about something, they temporarily go away, perhaps that's also a form of distraction

I could definitely do the angry thing! I should turn the fear and anxiety when it happens into anger and shout them away. I’ll give anything a go. Thanks
