Ok, I understand your fear but try to remember that the doctors told you everything was ok. I too had an alarming ecg where it said “severe ST changes” and “probable endocardial injury.” I nearly had a panic attack when I saw it but the the ER doctor (and my cardiologist) assured me that it was NOT true. They explained that the ecg machine tries to interpret the data but has no baseline information or any background on you, so it will make wild guesses to interpret the reading. Please do not take it to heart! Your doctors know better how to interpret your test results. I actually threw that paper away because even though I knew it was wrong, it scared the living daylights out of me every time I looked at it.
No doubt it's alarming to hear all that. I had a CHF, woke up in the hospital a couple days later, so yes all of these issues are scary. But if your doctor says your ok, either get a second opinion or have trust in their words. Prayers going up for you.
I told myself Im gonna stay calm like someone told me on here.... That they wouldn't let me leave if something was wrong and i am also going to get a second opinion as well.... But I noticed all my past ecg's were normal and the few that was abnormal in the apst were due to my anxiety flaring up and ive been to a cardiologist 3 times ive had multiple chest x-rays, 24hr heart monitor, multiple ecg's, a stress test and and echo which all came back normal they told me my heart was in good shape and strong & with this last one idk if my anxiety caused it but i was definitely in panic mode during my ecg..... How did u feel before u were diagnosed with CHF?
I was never diagnosed. I wish I would've been seen by doctors before it happened! So you are taking the right steps by getting checked out. Try to have trust in your doctor, but it also doesn't hurt to have a second opinion. Pray you are fine as they've told you.
Did they not check you before? Ur primary care provider? And yes I'm working on the trust of my doc they haven't stirred me wrong so far and i pray the haven't missed anything or misdiagnosed me and i have an appt coming up to discuss my ecg results!! And thank u so muchhh for the prayers and prayers for u as well and ur health to stay awesome!!!
Thank you for your prayers! I wasn't ever checked by my primary doctor, which was my fault. I had scheduled a physical in 10/2017 but had to fly back to California for my mom ( she was told she'd be having open heart surgery, never happened) flew home in Sept came flew back home Dec 13th three hours after arriving I had the heart failure! My word to others is get your six month check ups unless you know you are having issues, go asap.
