Thank you for your advice carlatjie, I have just taken a look at the black seed oil and I see people are using it and having good results. We don't usually get told about these natural cures. Have you been using these yourself ?

I have done a bit more googling on black seed oil and it sounds really good for helping all sorts of ills.

*Is there a 'best' type of black seed oil to take or are they all the same ?

*Also is all Wheat grass the same and how do you use it ?

Can you eat it as you would a bowl of cereal or do you make it into a bread ? I have heard lots mentioned about wheat grass, but have no idea of how you use it.

Can you explain why the ginger beer also helps please. I'm guessing it is the ginger in it ?

be careful with ginger is you have gallstone or gallbladder problems as it squeezes the bile duct to release more bile. i was taking ginger and got bad pains and found out that i shouldnt be taking it with my gallbladder problems.

be carefull with that wheat grass as if you'v never had it before its very powerful and can make you sick. most people buy a special juicer to juice it.and drink it. i once bought some from a french restaurant and was very sick afterwords as i gulped it down.

i would say most black seed oils are all the same except you dont want to get the strongest one if youv never taken it before.

Black Cumin Seed Oil (also often called Black Coriander Oil or simply Black Oil) comes from the Nigella Sativa plant that is native to Asia.

it tastes horrible but you get used to it. you can use it on your skin.

Lol!, I took my first half teaspoon yesterday and felt fine, it is not too unpleasant, but today I took a generous half teaspoon on an empty stomach when I first got up and felt nauseous for a few hours, but I certainly won't give up on it as is good for lots of ills, just need to work out how to use it better.

Thanks for the wheat grass warning :)

I keep forgetting to take it, but have just done so, thanks for the reminder, yes I will stick with it as it feels like it can do lots of good as it goes down, Also to help keep my Hubby's asthma away. I also take vitamins also and I forget the BSO is in the other cupboard as it is too big to fit into the vitamin store.

How are you doing on the BSO ? and how long have you been taking it grace111 ?

iv taken it of and on for about a year. i keep it in the fridge and throw it out if i'v not used it by 6 weeks. as i read that. i think it depends on the strenght of the oil. there are 3 strenghts and i think the one we buy from the middle eastern shops is the second strongest as i can tell from the taste the first one i ever got was made by viridian and that was the weakest one and the most expensive one. about £25 but you got £5.when you take the bottle back. i buy it from the middle eastern shops now and its about £5 for 100ml. my bodyfriend swears buy it and drinks it every day and he says it gives him a good sleep. he buys it online from the blessed seed company i think its called and he buys the large strongest one. you can get a lot of information just going on the website and reading all about it and the different strenghts.this is what it says about the strong black seed oil Our strong black seed oil contains about 2.4% thymoquinone. Most black seed oil on the market contains about 0.66.i still think that the strongest is to strong. i think the middle one is the best and even the mild one is better than taking none.

Interesting that the different strengths taste different, the taste isn't too bad after having food and washed down with a swig of drink. Thanks for the info on the amount of thymoquinone in it and what you buy, I am sure we must have bought the mild one, going by a mild taste :) there is no info on the label, it is called organic guru and in a glass bottle.

i had a look at organic guru its very expenisive. i just buy mine from the big asian supermarket and its £5 for 100ml, some of them are in plastic bottles but i make sure i ask if its a glass bottle mine is called hemani black seeds oil. in a glass bottle. my boyfriend gets it from that site i mention the blessed seed company. its cheap there too. you can also get soap and seeds and shampoo and other goods too. as seemingly its great for the skin and hair i have watched a few utube videos with people using it for a facial. they just get a pessel and mortar. i just take one teaspoon at night. i will take it soon. it tastes like petrol. not that iv tasted petrol but i can imagine petrol to taste that way. i hope your start to feel well i had to stop taking it because i was getting my gallbladder out and could not take any oil. i was in so much pain as the stone was stuck in the bile duct. so i was not taking any chanced by taking any kind of oil at that time. but iv started to take it again just recently and i do forget sometimes to. lol no wonder eh?:😂 love grace

myself and my boy friend take black seed oil. make sure when you buy it that its in a glass bottle. as thats how its supposed to be and those plastic bottles are not good. you can get different strenghts. i take it at bedtime as it helps us to sleep. he says it does a lot for him. i dont really notice much differect its full of goodness so i take it anyway.they say it cures everything except death. you can get soap and shampoo and seeds many people use the seeds for their face you can watch clips on utube. really interesting. love grace xoxoxo

:) Yes I did read that black seed oil cures 'all except death' I shall take a look at more of these you tube videos, very interesting learning these new cures.

My oil was organic, cold pressed and in a glass bottle, (like you mentioned,) so hopefully the right one, so many to choose from.

Thank Q grace111
