Hi Bluelady

Your young plants are looking good!

Depending where you are in the UK I think you could start moving them outside during the day to acclimatise to being out and then, after a few days of doing that, pot them on into their final growing position outside. You could always pop a bit of fleece over them at night if it’s chilly. Remember to choose the warmest and sunniest part of your garden.

When you repot your tomato plant, plant it deep enough so that the soil comes up to just under its first set of leaves. It will then grow additional roots from the buried stem and make for a sturdier plant.

Good luck with them - I look forward to seeing the pictures when they’re cropping😊

Excellent advice from Threecats. I would plant out once hardened off and you have a good root system. I sow my tomatoes in February indoors and something that you may want to consider next year. Indoors tends to make them "soft" and to grow strong need to be put under pressure gradually. I start early with a heavy cropping variety for early fruits so I always get a good crop in case of blight. My plants have their first flowers appearing.
