Hi and welcome to the Healthy Eating group, MwnciPorffor . Thank you for introducing yourself to everyone.
Here's a link to our Gluten Free Recipes that are under the Topics Section. I hope this helps you! Please see: healthunlocked.com/healthye...
I would say salami and cheese & nuts but not sure about gluten or dairy free?? Ron
Do you have much time for cooking? Can you reheat things?
I tend to batch cook something on a weekend to take with me, like soup. This week I'm having a smoked paprika stew, with beans, potatoes, chorizo and tomatoes. I'm heating it in the morning and keeping it warm in a good quality food flask.
I also made too much stir fry last night, and I'm taking the leftovers to work tomorrow.
You can also look at Buddha bowls/burrito bowls for ideas that might taste good cold. This sort of thing: sweetpeasandsaffron.com/bud...
Welcome, I no longer work nights but 12 hour day shifts plus travel time, still plays havoc with normal eating patterns. Donations of chocolate, cakes and biscuits from appreciative patients and colleagues result in ‘grazing’, sadly far too many of us have gradually become too heavy. I am about to go on duty and have finally started to take food to work, I make soup , put some in a flask and freeze the rest. I also make too much paella or risotto and freeze that in re used take away curry boxes to grab and take to work.So much sickness from Covid adding to the workload and making meal breaks difficult to take. Take care.
