Hi everyone. For my lunch today, I'm having: tuna, garlic flavored hummus and an apple. The total carbs. for the meal will be 24. You can substitute any flavor of hummus for mayonnaise. One of my favorite flavors is the spinach and artichoke, but we unfortunately don't have that one right now.

Thank you for saying that, Hidden . Those are two of my favorite flavors of hummus I enjoy when having tuna. Roasted Red Pepper and Olive Tapanada is a few others, when possible and available.😀👍🧄
I've never had spinach and artichoke hummas Leah so that's one for me to look out for in the future, and garlic flavour is always good. This certainly sounds like a tasty and healthy lunch and super low carb!
Thank you, Sue! Yes, it's one of my favorite types of lunches and I decided to have an apple instead of a yogurt today to change things up just slightly. Even with an apple, the lunch was still very low carb.. When I have a yogurt, sometimes, the total is slightly higher, but not over.
Garlic hummus is really good and goes well with a lot of different types of fish to mix in instead of mayo.. Once in a while, I use garlic with salmon, but it depends on how much of both items we have in the house.
It sounds yummy as a flavor but my top pick would be garlic hummus. Hope you get more opportunities to find the spinach and artichoke since you like it.
