Here's what I had for dinner tonight its a bought pie with a curried filling which uses brown lentils, its organic gluten free and vegan and the pastry is very dry and crumbly but a nice dollop of gravy or sauce soon remedies that. I roasted some potatoes at the same time basted in a sweet chilli sauce to compliment the pie. Then I sautéed an onion added gram flour to thicken and gently cooked with some mixed frozen veg water and curry spices.
I smiled at Debs post as its definitely pie and roast weather so enjoy hearty autumn meals folks. 🍁
Hi Debs and you’re spot on it is a Clives Pie and very nice too. I was pleased how the toastier turned out and perfect thus weather as it dies feel like winter is knocking at the door. 😁

I love having mixed vegetables and lentils together. We have some lentil soup waiting as leftovers for a side dish with another meal in the next few days from the last time we had hummus.
