I was in a discussion on the CLL forum but inadvertently got off topic.

I was discussing broths etc and we got onto Scouse. There are two forms of this. The original with meat and 'blind' scouse without meat. I use a recipe from Slimming World which is incredibly healthy.

Scouse reminds me of Irish stew and a Welsh stew called cawl!

Yes I can see that, Liverpool was closely linked to Ireland and of course not far from north Wales so that would have made them consider their heritage.
