I just came across this graphic at bustle.com/articles/137865-.... If you add up meat, fish & dairy they account for over 70% of all cases. The research showed that a whopping 97% of US chicken was contaminated, sufficient to make one sick. I guess this is why the US bleaches its chicken.
Anyone want to feel sick?: I just came across... - Healthy Eating
Anyone want to feel sick?
i am 68 years old and had food poisoning two times, both of in India.
one was from chicken in a guest house in humpi.
one was from a water melon on the beach in Agonda. 3 of my friends end up in hospital over it.
so on my chart its 50/50.
cant remember how many people died in the U.S. from cantaloupe melon Poissoning.
do you really expect people to believe B.S. like 97% of chicken in the U.S. is contaminated.
is this some kind of a job for you?
My worse case of food poisoning that put me in hospital was from white potatoe lol, a restauant served me a green jacket potatoe, but i was watching tv while eating it so didn't really pay attention 🙈
Iv never had food poisoning from any meats iv cooked myself😊
A friend of mine ended up very ill after eating Aloo Gobi in a beach restaurant, thats a cauliflower and potato dish.
another close friend health has been very badly effected by drinking a glass of water. something to do with liver. he still suffering after ten years.
My worst case was abroad due to water too.... uffff it was sooo bad! It lasted 8 months! Lol
Never had it with meat yet 🤞🏽
I cook all my meat properly so it doesn't matter to me.. if we all worried about what may make us sick next we wouldn't want to eat or drink anything
Im sure no one 'wants to feel sick" from food poisoning etc. From fruit leafy greens or chicken etc
Take a look at this:
theguardian.com/lifeandstyl...
"Nearly three-quarters of fresh chickens in supermarkets and butchers are contaminated with the potentially lethal food-poisoning bug campylobacter, according to the final results of a year-long testing programme published by the Food Standards Agency."
Thank goodness that the EU doesn’t allow the importation of chlorinated chicken....hope we don’t go for lower standards post Brexit.
There are lots of foods that can cause problems if they aren’t properly treated (washed etc), or cooked thoroughly.
Looks like it's already being planned:

That page seems to have moved theguardian.com/politics/20...
Most of it is caused by not hand washing before handling food.
There is a new outbreak of E-coli in the US nbcnews.com/health/health-n.... The source seems to be cow manure, which when is corn fed encourages e.coli which then one way or another gets onto vegetable crop fields.
