For lunch today, we had: cottage cheese, pineapple chunks, blackberries, half an apple sliced up and dry roasted peanuts. The entire meal was: 47 total carbs.. It has been a while since we had cottage cheese and fruit for lunch. It was really good.

Thank you for saying that about the cottage cheese and fruit salad. It's been a long time since we were able to have cottage cheese mixed with fruit. I've missed having it as a choice for lunches each week. It was a surprise when my parents told me that that was what we were going to do today. Nice surprise!

Thank you, Sue! Yes, you're right about it being tasty and fresh. We were going to add a fresh watermelon into everything, but we may use it for another meal later this coming weekend.

A delicious looking light lunch
Yes, I really missed having cottage cheese and it has kept from being hungry. I like a lot of the different fruits and glad we could add them to a fruit and nut salad.

I don’t know what the calories were because when I do the totaling, I just add up the carbs. in each meal. 😀
