I bought these local strawberries and raspberries this morning and as it’s so hot here had some this afternoon with a couple of dollops of vegan ice cream. Which I think shows how the plant based market has expanded with lots of alternatives and this is a new brand so I thought I’d try it especially as I like vanilla ice cream the most.
I think this time of year is wonderful for local fruit and vegetables and the best part of mid summer evolving into autumn with all the lush seasonal fruit and veggies. I love local seasonal produce the best anyway. 🍓
Beautiful, bright and a great summer delight! My fave flavor is vanilla and then caramel butter pecan. You drink whole milk so let me be a curious cat and ask you, is there a reason why you choose vegan ice cream?
A summer delight indeed Imaaan and I don’t mind you asking as I’m not a vegan. I just really like vegan ice creams and find them really easy to digest. 😊
I may try to do that either tonight or on Friday for dessert at dinner time this week. We have a few pre-boxed/pre-filled containers with fresh fruit and we also have some ice cream from a few days ago. I'll see what can be done. Great idea!
Hello fib4 I’m not a vegan I’m a coeliac and a vegetarian, lots of vegan foods are gluten free. I do like vegan ice cream and creams as my body doesn’t absorb fat well so find they work for me and I can buy them in my local whole food shop.
