Here’s one of my trees in my backyard on a 80 degree day! It’s got a lot of dark green leaves and one bird flew out before I could get it in the picture. Might get a picture of the bird next time. This was taken after my lunch today.
Stay safe, happy and healthy!😀👍🌳

Thank you for that, Rachmaninov2 . Yes, the tree does give some shade, but we do still get some sunlight streaming in through the deck door and also with the skylights.
Love your tree, lush! But 80°C in the sun, too hot for me, sadly since my heart attack 2019, heat doesn't agree with me any more! But you enjoy your beautiful weather Leah 😍👌🏖️
Thank you for saying that about the tree. It's still doing really well after all these years. I'm not quite sure how old it is, but it's been here before I moved to the house. It's had a lot of families of birds live in it over the years, so I don't really know if the bird I saw today was from a year or two ago.
Well they say , a tree takes 100 years growing, 100 years living, 100 years dying! That was on Country Life, a program on BBC 1 Leah! Found that highly interesting 😁👍
It is on every Sunday evening here Leah!Sorry for late reply here, been working and it is so mega busy in our Restaurant kitchen since fully open now!
Felt exhausted after my shifts!
We are all sighing, Front of House and Back of House, feel like before Christmas it's just absolutely crazy !!!
Wow, is that actually in your garden? I love trees, my favourite is a weeping willow. There was one in our local park I used to sit under on a rare hot day we get from time to time 🤓. My mum had lots of trees, my dad wanted to grow vegetables because you can't eat tree's! You can't argue with that.
I remember one night I looked up into my extenshion to my house to see a branch had grown through the door -I was scared & nipped it in the bud pardon the pun & had to get dad to come down & saw it off-I was scared I was going to come down & find a forest had grown
Wow! We had a neighbor use their electric saw a few years ago on a tree branch about 8 years ago in their front yard. It took a few months for everything to grow back slowly.😀👍
Thank you for letting me know this. There is a tree near the back door on the basement level and the branch hit the door recently when it was rainy/windy at 11 pm.
I think its best you maybe cut it down before it bangs on any glass & breaks it or any part of the door otherwise you might find yourself with an even bigger problem
Thank you for that suggestion. I will have to see what is going on with the tree's branch when I go later today to the doors in the basement area ( walk out basement).
Awe! Thanks, Hidden ! The tree is very helpful with the sun being bright, but some of the birds/squirrels use it as a place to live and jump from to tease my cat, Bunny now and then. They come off the branches and land on the deck to shake their tails/wings at her while she's still in the house.
The weather here for the temps. are warm, but I would like them to be a little cooler so we don't have to run the ac so much this week.
Surrounded by 200 acres of woods & see trees all day long lol but the best tree we have is at our other property, we have a large live oak, 18 ft girth but there’s one over in Trenton & it dwarfs ours, covered in resurrection ferns & dripping in Spanish moss!
