A lovely breakfast there Jerry, particularly with homemade crusty bread. Your bread looks really yummy.😋😋
I rarely have breakfast now as it's not often I feel like eating. If I do feel like eating I tend to have a banana, sometimes with a homemade raw fruit bar as well.
Hope you're having a good day.

Thank you Alicia it’s interesting our eating habits as fruit sounds a great healthy option to me but I like toast. I hope that you enjoy your day now. 🌈👍😊

It's very interesting. I used to have breakfast all the time but since having quite a few issues with certain foods I kind of went off breakfast.
Your poached eggs and homemade gluten free bread with potatoes look wonderful for breakfast. They remind me of an egg in a hole ( you put eggs and get a slice or two of any bread you want and use a cup to cut the hole in the middle of the bread). You cook both together and it looks like a French toast type of meal, but looks different with the hole. Both are really good and don't take too long to cook.
My favorite breakfast for eating at home is: 2 hard boiled eggs and a Greek yogurt. When we were able to go on trips and COVID wasn't around, I would eat either omelets/scrambled eggs, low carb. vegetables with different meats and a Greek yogurt since those items were gluten free on the road in most places we stayed in.
Thank you for that. We may have to see when the next time to do egg in a hole will be done since it's been a while since the last one.
Looks amazing! We had poached eggs yesterday which were very tasty but don’t look as good as yours!

Hey yours look really delicious as I cheat and use a poacher...you have lots of delicious things to accompany your eggs as well. So top marks from me. 👍😊
Hi Alice, both of these sound really good breakfast choices to me and I especially like the sound of quark porridge with fruit as I bet the quark gives it a lovely flavour. You have a great day and keep safe now. 🌈😊
So hard to pick a favourite when you like so many With Hidden With my healthy hat on its small led salmon and scrambled egg. With my in need of a fry up it would be eggs bacon black pudding mushrooms and if I’m honest bubble and squeak but the latter has not been cor a long time. If I’m feeling rebellious it’s Jambalaya.
Hi Dave great choices here and I like bubble and squeak with breakfast sometimes and enjoy a fry up sometimes as healthy eating isn't austere eating its keeping the balance. Now the thought of Jambalaya sounds a delicious breakfast...👍
I didn’t mean for the healthy option to sound like a penance😄. It’s one I would be happy to have any day. Jambalaya is an amazing one for a change. Also this time of year particularly, asparagus and poached eggs is a winner 👍
Hi Dave, you didn't its what is healthy for us and our needs. As too many people think that healthy eating is low fat low calorie.
When whole milk is far more nutritious than skimmed milk and a lot of people don't realise that a portion of potato chips cooked with good quality potatoes and good quality oil contains a lot more vitamin C weight for weight than apples. So if you don't have to worry about your weight chips can be part of a healthy diet! 👍
I really love tomatoes on toast, very simple but delicious with a pinch of salt. I also love eggs - I'll do a fried egg on top of pesto toast with mushrooms, or an omelette with peas and cabbage. Everyone's meals sound fab!
I broke my fast today with a warm salad of rare lamb steak cooked in rosemary and garlic on a bed of lettuce, cherry tomatoes and avocado, dressed with homemade mayonnaise.
I constructed it in my head while walking home through sleet. It lived up to my imagination. New favourite, I think.
Your breakfast looks delicious Jerry! Especially your h/m bread!!My favourite is either broccoli and red pepper frittata, or baked eggs with fried mushrooms, vegan GF sausages and spinach salad 😋

Hey thanks Hidden your choices sound scrumptious to me. 👍😊
I know now that what I make for my breakfast on most days has become quite the thing, and is called a frittata! When I was a child and we had loads of eggs, my mother used to use up left-over potato in a dish we called "eggandtatoe". Recently I have adapted it, as I eat very few potatoes, and I always cook a generous surplus of veg in the evening so that I can mix the leftovers with two eggs to fry for breakfast. Today's had cauliflower, leek, and mashed celeriac left from last night's tea, plus some sprouted beans and a little ground up linseed. I don't fiddle about with putting it under the grill to brown like frittata recipes tell you - I just turn it over in the frying pan! For tomorrow I have celeriac and cauliflower again, plus a tomato and some red pepper, which will go into the mixture raw so they just warm through as the egg cooks.
