I woke up to persistent rain this morning with no need or incentive to venture out so I baked a gluten free apple and cinnamon loaf with brown gf bread flour dried raisins cinnamon and sliced apple. Here's my bread recipe I just add extras for fruit/special bread:
It sure smells nice and I'm looking forward to having some later with tea and maybe jam or cheese as I love strong cheese with fruit bread.
Enjoy the rest of your day now folks. ππ

Hey thanks Hidden ππ
That looks delicious!
We have mince pies and coffee cake here that we are demolishing at present!
I have just come back from a great 4 mile walk in the rain as I decided to bite the bullet and just go anyway and the local parks were deserted bar dog walkers and others like me who are crackers!

Thank you catgirl your coffee cake and mince pies sounds good to me as I've had a go at some mince pies myself.
Well done for going for a 4 mile walk you'll feel better for it. ππ
That looks lovely I love raisins and sultanas the big juicey ones been having with mixed nuts but my fillings out at the front from nuts. I love cheese but can't have extra mature cheddar as that kind of bacteria isn't good for me. Enjoy π

Thank you Hidden raisins and sultanas contain lots of iron so are very healthy and tasty. π

Oh good was going to look them up maby that's why I been fancying them more as my iron was a bit low from not eating meat, well I got a few bags with nuts last big shop but I can't eat the monkey nuts too crunch and I saw a article said they have something in that tears the gut wall I'm eating more foods with prebiotics as they fuel probiotics which I have been having for 6 years when I had my unexpected ulcerative colitis it was a one off luckily and specialist said have I been eating extra mature cheese maby that was the culprit, mam got a slow cooker today so can eat more lentils and legumes then throw it all in like you do lol enjoy your evening π₯ππ

Ah so you took it out of eyesight and froze it, you'll certainly have more to eat whilst this weather is asking for comfort food. Excellent, more to make, can't think of anything better.ππππ
Thank you for the recipe. Iβve recently had to go gluten free and itβs nice to have some good recipes to go to.
