I graduated the c25k back in June and don't eat before a run. I just make sure I'm well-hydrated before i set off. Good luck with the programme!

P.S. have you joined the couch to 5k forum? They'll be able to advise you better.

Hi CB1755

Welcome to the Healthy eating forum. It's great to hear you've finished week 5 of the Couch to 5km. I've never completed that, but there's a great forum (as Hidden mentioned) - and a link is here:

healthunlocked.com/couchto5k

You've probably already found it, but I thought you'd like the link, just incase you hadn't found it yet.

I do a bit of running, and I don't tend to eat anything specific before running, I also just ensure I'm sufficiently hydrated.

Hope you are having an enjoyable week.

Zest :-)

Yes, thank you.

I suggest playing around a little bit to see if eating prior to a workout helps your performance. I used to find a few crackers with a tsp or cream cheese helped set me up, but now I either eat nothing or just a few nuts or similar.
