Potentially. I think your would need to ensure the coconut oil is liquid to allow it to mix as well as avocado oil would, and you will also find it influences the flavour (may or may not be a nice combination).

Why not try making a quarter batch to see if it works, then you won't have too much waste if it doesn't?

I'm sure of it tasted awful you could mix through some flour and egg and bake some brownies though :)

I fully agree, with your advice, the same will be true for Groundnut, Soya Bean, Hazelnut or indeed Any 'other' oil you fancy. Personally I use Rape Seed oil, it's light, has a high 'smoke point' and it pretty much tasteless.

I 'roared', at your suggestion, of making a 'failed attempt' into brownies😂.

:D It's only because a news article shared this as a lockdown baking idea a few days ago, honest :D

'......Continue Cooking for 20-25 minutes, or until the mixture is no longer 'Jiggly'😀….'. What a great description!

I’ve made homemade Nutella using coconut oil., coconut milk, hazelnuts, maple syrup and cocoa, It’s delicious!!

Coconut oil is solid at room temperature, unless it has been adulterated, How about trying Hazelnut oil? It is what is used in Nutella.

Hi Hidden

I'm guessing you might have made it by now, and if so, how did it turn out? I hope it was ok.
