I suffer with IBS and the AIP ( autoimmune paleo) helped get rid of my flares and iv been pain free for 8 weeks. My nutritionist says im ready to eat a normal paleo diet now.
Which i am but the one thing im still having everyday is bone broth soup. I use bone broth instead of stock when making homade soup. I love bone broth especially chicken , it has helped my digestive system so much and i feel better when having a bowl everyday then when i dont.
I wondered if its healthy to have bone broth everyday? My nutritionist said it is , but i have found websites that suggest having it everyday might not be healthy

I think that you can eat it everyday if it’s homemade broth. You can take off the grease when it’s cooled. The store brands are just salt... so indeed, homemade broth can be eaten everyday... not store bought broth. I really don’t know if it’s making a difference but since you feel it.... go for it. The only thing bad about eating it everyday... is to get tired of it! However, you can perfume it with different herbs to bring some variety in taste.
Thanks. Yes i only have homade. I have another condition that means i have to be low salt so making my own was the only way to enjoy it. One thing i love about it is when i have a bowl for lunch it keeps my craving for sugar foods lime chocolate and cake at bay. When i have a sald instead i get my sugar cravings but when i have bone broth soup it keeps my cravings away
A post where you already know the answer. Isn't it wonderful when your health improves by what you do not what others tell you. Why take advice from a website when you already know what is right? We have lost that innate feeling of what is good for us. Thanks for sharing.
The important part of the post that we can all take is that trust yourself and bone broth can solve a health issue. Good food can improve health and sometimes dramatically, better than drugs and in the current climate any improvement in your health will have a beneficial effect on immunity.
Hi and welcome to the forum and I'd listen to your nutritionist, we have recipes for bone broth on here, please see:
You can take onions and garlic out and just cook chicken in olive oil and ginger and salt and pepper.. cook until brown and add water. You can add a tomoto instead of onion if you pefer but you can make it without.
