Hi Everyone. I love soups for brunch/dinner. My favorite is this Rice Noodle Soup ๐Ÿฒ ๐Ÿ˜‹

The main ingredients:

Rice noodles, banana flowers, bean sprouts, green onion, fresh herbs and sliced vegetarian ham.

Broth: Mushroom broth with shrimp paste and chili paste which make the soup reddish orange color looking.

I always love a cup of warm tea after my meal. Mint Oolong Tea is one of my favorites.

Hope you have a happy Friday and a great weekend ahead! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™โ˜€๏ธโ˜ฎ๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒบ

I'll have to add this to my recipes ๐Ÿ˜ . Healthy and looks delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹. Happy Friday and weekend ahead for you too! Thanks for sharing ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿค—.

Yasssss add it to your recipe and replace with your gluten free ingredients. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ I can have soup all day, everyday ๐Ÿ˜‚. Be one with the kitchen and enjoy your inner time ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™

That looks so good. I need to get more into soups. I'll keep this one in mind. The mint should add a good kick. Have a great Friday evening and long weekend Koko! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you Kainan. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™ Definitely get into soup regime, so light and packed with nutrients and as much vegetables as you want in there. I love mints, herbs in most dishes and drinks. Iโ€™ll be beach bum this weekend ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘. Have a good one too Kainan! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒบ

Noodle soups are a staple food in are house, we all love them, the different ingredients you use to make them is I think endless. My favourite is Ho Fun noodles, but I like them all, we buy freshly made from our local market.

Great reminder, try and make something today ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh wow I love Ho Fun for Pak kee mao ๐Ÿ˜‹ We have these trendy restaurants called Hot Pot where we sit around with mini stove and they bring all kind of vegetables, meat, seafood, whatever you wanna order and you can cook and serve yourself. Iโ€™ll be looking forward to your upcoming food post! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

I know about the hot pot restaurants, they are quite popular in every Asian country, in China the outdoor ones would heat up the clay pots with charcoal and the indoor would be with gas.. we use to eat often at a popular well know company one near us, but stopped as it was expensive and my kids played up to much so we sometimes do it at home now. Will put a noodle post on soon..๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh for sure in many Asian countries and they are so popular in California. We have the gas stove one. Iโ€™d love to have the clay pots experience. You are right as they can get very expensive. We like going in group to order varieties and share, itโ€™s more fun and economic that way. Kids can be chaos around to eat this kind of food. For bigger family, itโ€™s a great investment to get all necessary stuffs to cook at home. Iโ€™m sure your noodle dish will come out wonderfully. ๐Ÿ˜‹

I used to make homemade Pho all the time but struggle to make it now. It's also harder for me to eat, even with a giant spoon. It's not the same out of a mug. It always tastes so refreshing, delicious and healthy. Plenty of lime and corriander. Tasty.

I havenโ€™t been able to get wontons that are gluten free.

I donโ€™t know in your area but here in CA, since gluten free is very trendy here, they offer the coconut wrap when they make wonton soup.

Hey Koko I have to say youโ€™ve hit the mark here so top marks from me as I love the sound of your soup.

Banana flowers have a very interesting texture I believe and I have to try them so thanks for sharing this as I also love home made healthy wholesome soup. ๐Ÿฅฃ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi Jerry, Iโ€™m glad you like my soup. ๐Ÿ˜ I find itโ€™s easy and simple to cook as we can add as many ingredients as we want that are beneficial for our individual health condition.

Itโ€™s amazing how youโ€™ve heard about banana flowers as they are the highlight of my soup. Their texture is sort of crunchy and they go so well with the flavor of the broth.

Studies showed banana flowers have many health beneficials for women health and overall reduce many health conditions such as: hypertension, diabetes, anemia, kidney function, digestive problems, and even mental health ( our guts health connects with our brain health). Well thanks for passing it on ๐Ÿ˜ฌI have to admit though I have seen some foods that turned my stomach over, but they very rare..overall my two years living there and perhaps the 10 or so times going there and hong kong to visit family, experience of the food in over 8 cities have been amazing.

Love to know when you was in China and how long for and what your overall impression was...I first went there in 1991 with my wife, a Chinese doctor in traditional Chinese medicine, and traveled with my sister and brother in law who are agents for some of the chemical factories in China, so it was a bit of a 5 star life style.

What an amazing country.

Your soup looks amazing, I make soup regularly and enjoy the solitude it creates while preparing it...Love the recipe ๐Ÿ˜‹jx

Thank you Strawberrylips. I feel same way when chopping ingredients for my soup also. Be on with our kitchen. ๐Ÿ˜Š Iโ€™m glad you love the recipe and would love to know yours too if you can share with me. ๐Ÿ™ Cheers to soup! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
