I’ve just joined the C25K Health Community and am on week 6 of the program. As well as getting fitter through exercise I’ve been trying to improve my diet too. I have 2 close friends and 1 close relative receiving cancer diagnoses in the last year and it’s made me really take stock about what food I’m eating and how this may affect my long term health. At home we’re eating less red meat (although roast lamb is my favourite) and more veg, seeds. Less dairy and caffeine too.
Still love chocolate 🍫

Hi FleetwoodShuttle thanks for joining us and welcome to the forum, we are foodies into eating well rather than an austere diet as you will see.
Lots of us eat chocolate dark chocolate is good for us. Healthy eating is more about making better food choices so we get lots of nutrition from our diets by avoiding lots of processed foods that are high in calories and low in nutrition.
Thanks for introducing yourself and you're in great company for all things healthy eating regardless of your food preferences as we're an eclectic friendly bunch.
